Come on. One might just as well say computer programs are evil. After all,
worms/viruses "are" computer programs ya know!

Of course there are evil Java Applets out there....either by intentional
design (as with viruses/worms), or by poor, or uninformed design...as with
bad/buggy computer software.

I don't use Java Applets myself, simply because even the best I've found
have a tendency to crash later versions of Netscape (not much to be said
about that, since later versions of Netscape seem to be crash-prone
anyway!), and many do not work with Opera.
