IE 6 on XP messes with your CSS... Bottoming out the image, reducing

Hello all.

IE4+ and NN6.x only.  Mac checks greatly appreciated, as well.

Here is a screenshot of how subpages should look:

Requesing a site check for the following:
http://www.midatlantictechnology.net/

1. Any display problems for you (compared to screenshot)?  [Please note
browser, version, platform, and resolution]

2. Any idea about the reason for the display instability and oddities in
NN6.2 (they vary with page loads, et al.)?  Might include:
    -- thin white vertical white space on column right of image
(subpages).
    -- border-right in content cell is off.
    -- white "stripes" behind the photo

Others (non-varying):
    -- won't show border-bottom of photo cell (does show border around
image).
    -- navbar width too short (NN's pixel differences?)
        * there was an old bug in the way bgcolor was applied to a div.
the workaround was to add a border. not helping.

COOL EFFECT: IE 4 produces a great effect (implementing the a:hover)
when you mouseover the image.  Doesn't reproduce on +browsers.
