probably because the enterprise client is expecting win32 application
capability within a web application... i've run into this many times...

sometimes the answer is a win32 app... sometimes it's standardizing
browsers... sometimes it's building vanilla code and actually letting it work
without trying to force it...

managine the client's expectations alone can make a lot of those issues go
away...
