Let's say you have a Yahoo! mail account, which you use as your POP account.
And lets say that you have yahoo's Spam filtering enabled on the web based
account.
Ever wonder how to take advantage of it with your POP mail?
Well, you can, if you are using Mozilla mail, Microsoft Entourage ,Mac OSX
mail, or any other email client that lets you use custom headers in it's
rules.
The secret is that yahoo adds the header
X-YahooFilteredBulk: 64.32.34.215 (where the number is an IP)
To email it identifies as Spam.

Now, all we need to do is to set a rule to look for this header
(X-YahooFilteredBulk), and if the mail has it, delete it.

Some email clients require you to specify something the header contains, in
order to take action. In that case, enter . (dot), since all emails with
that header will have it.

Bye bye Spam :-)
