neither of those benefit the user...  neither of those is, in itself, a very good
reason...  that's why we make personal sites and practice sites... there was a
time, after all, when <blink> was fun...

i completely fail to see how that is relevant here...  it's a personal site, the JS
just opens a new window, and if you try the JS calls on the page, it degrades
well for those without JS...

if you're gonna take pot shots, check the details...

one way to achieve that is to allow those with JS disabled to use it... like
search engines, for instance...
