[thelist] website web site

Like all language, these things change over time. As Kostas Nasis has
pointed out, the AP Style says to use "Web site." The theory behind this is
that the Web is a separate entity and should be capitalized. In my writing,
however, I'm leaning towards "website." My reasoning is that there's no need
to call attention to the Web and that website is an easier to use term.
