[thelist] print css not working

Hi all
I have a page with a javascript driven nav menu in a css positioned div and
a text nav menu in a footer div. I don't want the menus to appear when a
user prints the page so I create a print.css and have
div.navmenu {display:none;}
div.textmenu {display:none;}
in it

The weird thing is that the text nav menu doesn't appear on the print but
the javascript one does. Is this because of the javascript. The entire
javascript bit is included in the div, functions, links to external files
and a noscript bit. This is happening on IE5.5PC.
