[thelist] OS X permissions problem

I actually own that book and it does nothing to help me with OS X. I've
actually read that article before I mailed the mailing list. These articles
pontificate about the basics, but never get down to real-world scenarios. OS
X has a devout problem...configure it like a normal UNIX box, even use the
NetInfo tool, and cgi scripts still lack the privilege to write to
directories. In the real-world a chmod 777 opens the door for all
scripts...but not even this blatant move can help in OS X.
