Another thing to be wary about if you need to make changes to the apache
httpd.conf file is that there are in fact TWO httpd.conf files you need to
worry about, not just one.

/private/etc/httpd/httpd.conf
and
/private/etc/httpd/httpd_macosxserver.conf

also, your ExecCGI's might be configured improperly in one or the other...
which would override.
