instead of warnings, why not take care of the little configuration issues
that make outlook express unsafe?  in other words, download all the latest
patches, set the security to the restricted zone, etc.

it's a cleaner, not a protectant.  are you sure you deleted the email from
outlook express that was infected with klez?  if you didn't and you didn't
tighten down outlook express then viewing that mail would infect the machine
again.

if you haven't taken the necessary precautions, yes.  then the "risk" is
down around the same level as getting hit by a car every time you walk on
the sidewalk.  fwiw, i've been on the net since about 97 and have *never*
gotten a virus while using outlook express or outlook 2k.

so, moral of the story?  don't just clean the machine.  close the holes that
would cause it to get infected again.
