I know you work for Macromedia, but the question to the list was about a particular site example for which I think I supplied a good answer as this site had no alternative for those that do not want to use Macromedia's plug-in. I know there is a script you can use that detects if Flash is installed and in use but this was not in place on this site. Besides, there was nothing on that site that could not be done WITHOUT Flash.
