[thelist] Plotting latitude/longitude coordinates dynamically

Hi,

I'm looking for open source code that will take a list of coordinates
(longitude/latitude) from a database (for example) and plot them on a map
with each point clickable.  Anyone able to point me in the right direction?
I'm not looking for translating IP #'s into coordinates (seen some software
that does that).
