i left it alone because it didn't fit any of my needs, and i didn't
have time to go stress-testing it...  if i don't know how something's
going to work/break, then i generally won't applaud/attack it...

unfortunately, i think it's too soon to expect strong browser
support..  i tend to dislike frames, but if you can get a block of
CSS to work in th latest browsers as a frame might, degrade well in
older browsers, and crash none, then hell, it's the way to go...
