[thelist] Using BLOGS as CMS

Ive just been experimenting with www.moveabletype.org which is a very very
elegant blog system which I am going to adapt to use as a CMS for a client
looking for a low cost solution (free indeed...)

Has anyone else tried CMS using blog software?

and, are there any other programs of similar or better quality that I should consider?
especially if there is a PHP alternative I would be interested
