[thelist] referrer blocked by AdSubtract?

It is one method of stopping the use of "bread crumbs". By combining this with cookie blocking, it makes it harder for a site to track where you have been abd where you came from.

This means that the only way of tracking the user is by comparing the IP addresses of all your page requests. This can be very long winded and not very accurate. Especially if the request is being made via a proxy server of some sort.

Subject: [thelist] referrer blocked by AdSubtract?

Found this as an entry in my server logs under "Referring Sites":

"referrer blocked by AdSubtract"

Does anyone know what this is?

Thanks! Pat
