<tip type="MySQL">
Q:

I have a bunch of *.frm, *.MYD, *.MYI files (MySQL database files). I
need to get the data, contained therein, into a MySQL database. Any
pointers on a quick solution?

A:

Create a subdirectory of your Mysql data dir called
$name_of_database, then drop these files into it,
chown/chmod to match the other Mysql data, and
restart Mysql.  Presto!
