Amy, I looked at the site in Opera, Mozilla, IE6, IE5 and NN4.75 all on Win2k... The IEs were the only browsers where the site appears to look "normal" in. While having a Mac would be nice for testing purposes, downloading Opera and Mozilla will be almost as good in the mean time. In my experience, if the site looks fine on all the browsers listed above any glitches will be minimal on a Mac. http://mozilla.org/releases/stable.html http://www.opera.com/download/ -----Original Message----- From: thelist-admin at lists.evolt.org [mailto:thelist-admin at lists.evolt.org]On Behalf Of Amy Johnson Sent: Friday, August 16, 2002 2:19 AM To: TheList Subject: Re: [thelist] Site check please http://www.rocky-hills.com/pasogold22k Given my deadline I had to give up on CSS and redo the whole web site in tables. I do want to eventually roll over to CSS but I now realize that I MUST have multiple platforms for my development process to be successful. I am currently looking into buying a used Mac just for the purpose of testing CSS sites. I have wasted huge amounts of time on this site and need some sleep. Good night. Amy > Hi all. I've got a problem! I need to have this website done tomorrow (Friday) and I have just heard that it's a mess on Macintosh > IE5. I do not have IE5 (cannot install it now that I have IE6) and I do not have a Macintosh. This is my first CSS tableless > website and boy am I in trouble!
