Using MS Outlook and want to export your emails to plain text archives?
Consider downloading Eudora (there's also a free version available) and
import your Outlook mail while installing it.

Then go into your Eudora folder on the harddisk and look for the .mbx
files. Each Eudora mailbox is stored as a plain text file, including
the mail headers, so you can easily do advanced text searches in these
files.

If you don't switch to Eudora at that time, you can even re-import these
files into Outlook as Eudora mailboxes, if ever you should need to restore
your binary Outlook message file.</tip>
