[thelist] quick [label] question

can anyone tell me quickly why the <label> on
http://cs.oberlin.edu/~jswiders/f2o/other/volmatch.htm
doesn't show up in NS 6.2?  It works in IE5/6 and NC4
(sortof) but there's no <label> (the "Enter ZIP" text)
in NS 6.
