Just to clarify, Lime does not currently seem to support Mozilla 1.1 I
went to their demo with Mozilla 1.1 under Win2K and it told me I had to
use a microsoft browser.

Also, as far as I can tell, Mozilla 1.1 does not yet support the
contentEditable property. The bug that tracks this
(http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=97284) indicates potential
inclusion in version 1.2

Xopus did implement a workaround (see
http://www.xopus.org/index.jsp?menu=mozce) for version 0.9x and up that
mimicks the contentEditable behavior for those people with caret
browsing turned on. They emphasize, however, that it is a workaround
that will disappear when Mozilla incorporates support for it into the
browser.
