i've tried searching the archives but got nowhere fast wasn't there a thread recently about how to replace special characters in a form field using coldfusion? a friend of mine (not on the list) is looking for help -- he says CF_SOXML cannot read them and chokes any coldfusion suggestions welcome rudy
