[thelist] CommandTimeout and Oracle

Hello people,

Does Oracle 7 work with (ADO) Command.CommandTimeout?

I'm trying to define a timeout when calling a stored procedure and it looks
like it does not work... Though the timeout is 5 seconds, it always takes up
to 20 seconds to run, without raising any error. I'm using Oracle 7.3.4.5.0
and ADO 2.7.

The proc being called will call another proc, in another Oracle server. The
other server's release is 8.1.7.3.0.

Any help will be aprecciated.
