         Heehee.

         I used to think it was a sort of random, personal choice, as well.

         Until I had to work with people who used spaces when I used tabs.

         Then it was pretty hellish.

         So, now my rule is:

         If things actually need to be exactly aligned (text "diagrams," or
something) use spaces. For indentation, use tabs--it makes the lives of
your co-workers (And future project-taker-overs) easier.
