Umm - actually the first is referred to as a fully qualified domain name
(FQDN) - but lets not get pedantic about this! (a FQDN is a host name +
domain name)
The 2nd is a "domain name".
and the ".com" is a top level domain name (TLD)....
I'll shut up now.
