What you are looking for is the live area or live space. It's a good
idea to accommodate for chrome (browser borders). Here's one I found off
Google right now:

Different sites will give you a difference of 2/3 pixels here and if you
really want, you can play it safe and subtract a further 2 pixels from
their minimum.
