Actually it's not a real popup.

I went and looked, there was a 'y' missing in the url ;-)

It's a div that follows the mouse and contains an image that is called specifically for each "mouse-overed" link.

Pretty neat. I saw a script that works with all dhtml browsers. But where on earth... this I can't remember.
