I'd say it's not really that hard, and you'd get to keep the search
facility.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/phptriad makes WAMP easier, but I've had
no problems setting up MySQl. Apache and PHP from their windows
installers on my winXP box - I use it everyday for dev work.
