[thelist] ASP and / instead of ?

I've noticed the PHP and / instead of ? thread, and wondered if a similar
thing is possible on an IIS server.

Basically I want this:
http://planetgnarly.com/newsitem.asp?id=120

to redirect to
http://planetgnarly.com/newsitem/120

(or something similar, eg: http://planetgnarly.com/newsitem.asp/id/120 )

I cant install IIS extensions, and I cant use custom error documents. I
believe its an NT4.0 server if that makes any difference. Any ideas?
