[thelist] checking external link validity

Is there some utility that will dive through your pages and check if
you have any dead external (or internal even) links? I know that
often if you use a particular app and its tools (like maybe DW with
its site management tools) that you often can do that, but what about
hand coded stuff? I do use HomeSite, but it requires LinkBot which is
no longer being offered and I can't seem to locate a copy online. Of
course they offer a new version for only $1,495! bah!
