[thelist] floated link images unclickable in Mozilla

hi list,

I'm a programmer and a relative newbie to the world of CSS layout, so
please excuse if this question is obvious. I've googled and haven't
been able to find anything on it.

I've got a couple images that are links, and I need them floated left.
But anytime I try to float them (I've tried floating the <img>, floating
the surrounding <a>, and enclosing the whole thing in a <span> and
floating it) the links turn unclickable in Mozilla.

I know it's got to be something I'm doing on this particular page,
because I've floated image links before and haven't had any trouble with
them in Mozilla. Does anyone have any clue what I might be doing to
cause this, or how I can work around it?

Sample page is at http://blah.in.us.mennonot.net, the 'unclickable
links' are "Contact" and "Welcome" just below the tab bar.

Also, if anyone has better suggestions of how to lay out the box just
below the tabs than by floating the images (it used to be a table, but I
had an awful time with IE arbitrarily ignoring my cell widths), I'm very
open. Like I said, I'm new to the CSS/layout world...

TIA,
Carl
