In addition to Paul's comments I would add the following:

The .Net framework was released about a year ago. ASP.Net is significantly
different to ASP. It is a fully object oriented environment, provides
significant speed and scalability enhancements for medium-large sites and
provide an event-driven environment.

You might want to start looking at the advantages/disadvantages of ASP.Net
rather than Classic ASP
