Doh! Anywho, My question is this:

The download time everyone is concerned about, does it apply on successive
pages, even after the site's normal graphics have loaded and have been
cached? (i.e. the "theme")

For example, your slightly perfect site has approx. 30 kb of data to
download for your home page, of which 25k is graphics.

Page 2...
Now you have more graphics and text totaling another 30k. You know have a
total page weight of 55kb. Since your browsers, by default, will cache
frequently requested images/objects, does that bring your download time back
to 30kb of new data? How reliable is this? Problems with this assumption?
