[thelist] Webalizer - does one need admin privileges to install it?

I think the answer is that it depends. generally speaking I don't think you
need root to compile a C app like webalizer, eg one could installl it in
their home directory and not in /usr/local...

why don't they give it a try and try installing it in their home directory
(assuming they have SSH access)?

also there is now a Win binary available on the webalizer site that might be
useful.
