If you've used Macs in the past, but work in a PC environment, you may
well have come to miss Stickies: that simple, colorful, Post-It note
replacement.
Well, some enterprising soul has written a freeware version for
Windows that supports skins, hotkeys and (how's this for teaching an
old dog new tricks?) a "networking" component that lets you leave
notes on other computers (or send quick emails if they don't have the
program, or are offline). It probably won't replace a chat client, but
it sure is handy for jotting things down- and passing along phone
messages.
Stickies 4.0a, 485kb
(language packs are like 10k each, there are also a bunch of other
plugins that I haven't tried)
