That is the effect I'm looking for..

The page I'm working on is at:

It currently has the functionality I'm looking for.. but I want to add a
rollover state to the buttons - what's currently there I've done in
Dreamweaver.

Although I have a total of 8 links I want this effect for.. I only want to
use 3 images.

The same image for the 'off' event.
The same image for the 'on' event.
The same image for the 'click' event.

I think you'll understand what I mean if you visit the link.
