Got an error and can't figure it out?

I just spent the past 30+ minutes staring at an SQL query that I was determined was correct in every way. But since it was throwing an error I knew I had to be wrong, I just couldn't figure it out.

I finally gave up and started to write an email to the theList detailing my problem. As I was typing I realized where I went wrong and fixed the problem.

Moral of the story: explain your problem to someone or something (in my case Outlook) and see if that doesn't help the gears in your brain to start turning again.
