It would have been better if the client had purchased rights to the source
files. But if the original developer is now out of business and no longer
has email, then I understand the situation.

You can often change URLs in a SWF... not always, but often. (It's possible
to specify addresses dynamically, and these can be difficult to edit, for
instance.)

Possible paths:

--  Open Dreamweaver's Site Window, enable "Show Dependent Files", and
click on the exposed address to edit it. (May need to play around in the
viewing prefs; it has been awhile for me.)

--  Use a utility like Baraks' URL Action Editor to change the addresses:
http://www.buraks.com/uae/

Not all files are amenable to these techniques, but many are. Good luck!
