Nope, not part of the slideshow, it's actually inbuilt into the browser.
Most of them have it now, Mozilla, IE, Most of the Gecko based browsers
(although not Chimera^WCamino unfortunately).

If you look at any recent (post 1.0) Mozilla build you can see tiny
drop-down arrows next to the Back and Forward buttons, yep, it works for
going forward too, although only if you've gone back previously...
err...if you see what I mean.
