Perhaps they should learn how to use their browser then?

These links typically depend on scripting, as well. Meaning that a user 
who is running a browser either incapable of running scripts or set not 
to run scripts (globally, or just from untrusted sources) may use one 
of these links and have no idea that it didn't work. The browser's own 
commands for these functions *always* works (unless there is a serious 
bug in the browser).
