[thelist] <input> IE only bug? Any ideas/views/uses?

Try this: (Tested with IE 5+ only, so far.)

Not sure why this works. Any ideas or possible uses? Except to force a
user to exclusively use a browser other then IE. Does this
function/not-function in other browsers? (I'm having a conversation at
work on why Microsoft would allow this, or possible uses.)

Thought I would ask [TheList] for alternative views/ideas.
