I like the idea of that approach, Its taken me a long time to get different
layouts working properly cross browser. I suppose the same as when I started
with HTML but I was more reliant on *cringe* dreamweaver for my code then.

Now I think I need to go back and re-cnsider the use of Divs opposed to
spans where needed - ie by use of display:block etc.
