so now it's at least mostly accessible. you can at least tab to a hotspot
and activate it without the focus event bumping you off it. however, it's
still horribly unusable. i still can't shift+click the hotspot to view the
link in a new window, alt+tab back and have an outline indicating where i
clicked (which is even more crucial as image maps don't have a state that
indicates the link has been visited).
i still contend that the caret, no more how annoying it is to the
designer-types, should be left alone.
