hi chris,

dont get me wrong, i am not a micro$oft fan. but i am forced to use their
tools for my 9 -> 5 existense.

but outlook does support threaded views too. you need to right click. add
field chooser, choose conversation. (rather than subject) then right click
again to add the group by box. and then drag the conversation column onto
the group by box.

simply yes? well no. intuitive yes? well again, probably not.

but it is there, if you are ever forced into using outlook again.

For a great open source email client check out Mozilla Mail. I have been
using it for the past two years after ditching Outlook and I have never
missed a single feature. I also love the threaded view - it makes browsing
all the emails from thelist a whole lot easier. It even comes with its own
web browser.
