If your machine is accesible to the outside world (not behind a
firewall) make sure that you restrict access to it, so you're not
sharing your private company info with everyone.
 
Some good, free software firewall solutions are Sygate Personal
Firewall, Black Ice Defender, Zone Alarm. Sygate is the best one I've
used.

Yes.

If you're computer has it turned on and you can see your own asp pages
anyone should be able to connect to your ip address (or computer name)
and see your pages.

should work.
