you're completely forgetting about motive if you think that's true.  there's
way more to gain by infecting a larger percentage of the base of computer
users.  the group you have to target to do that is windows users.

protection comes down to one thing, common sense.  i've been on a pc for the
last 6+ years (all of those online), have never installed a single bit of
anti-virus software, and have *never* been infected.

if macs suddenly become a valuable target, where will you be then without
common sense?
