I'm not sure what difference using a Mac would make for this:

all you need is a web browser to load the applet and 36 jpg images of your 
object (every 10 degrees)

The only thing you need windows for is to run the helper application to 
generate the html code, but that comes as a sample html file or you can 
view source on the demo page or indeed view source here:
