I would disagree

I personally have NO programming background but by reading how a few 
scripts ( by working through them) have worked I have adapted them to do 
what I wanted via trial and error, admittedly if I had chosen the wrong 
scripts to play with this could have been quite a destructive experience 
but it wasn't and I learnt a lot about the way of combining filed in forms 
to do stuff like combine text inputs in forms to generate more complicated 
functionality than a script was designed for

I feel like I achieved something BUT it was AFTER cutting and pasting, that 
got it working, I got it "kiCking"
