I've just got this to work with osc.

Put all your files (catalog and admin) on your secure folder
(https://www.yoursite.com/ points to /www/your/webfolder/) and then get your
isp to point your non secure (http://www.yoursite.com/) to the same space.

I have set up http://www.clientsite.com to point to /secure/clientsite/. The
secure part is https://secure.brightstorm.co.uk/clientsite/ points to
/secure/clientsite/ to allow use of a shared ssl cert.

If you physically have 2 folders you will need to get your isp to
reconfigure or you'll be running duplicate sites.
