There are a number of 3rd Party editors that can be run through a 
browser providing a MS Word style editing interface generally working in 
place of a standard text area.

At the top of the market you have eWebEditPro by Ektron (www.ektron.com) 
- there are many others, but we have found it to be the best on market 
and should do exactly what you want.
