Using IE5.1 on MacOS 8.1, I can confirm that it not only crashes the 
browser, but the entire machine.

As for explaining why that might be happening, well - I'm a little 
afraid to go back and investigate. Might be best if you get hold of a 
Mac running an older OS and test away. Would start by stripping out any 
scripts from the results page, then stylesheets, then if necessary, 
incrementally remove content until you have a working submission and 
work back from there.
